Our HistoryIn the mid 80’s, Robert & Kim Trupe became young entrepreneurs’ in both the RV industry and a medium sized Day Care center. After about 7 years of the daycare business, Kim & Robert sold the Day Care center which was then licensed for 135 Children. Kim pursued her real estate license and took up the career as a real estate agent for a major firm. Robert, in the mean time, was busy growing the RV Dealership.

The business had grown through several plateaus starting from “Mom & Pop” and growing to what had become one of the largest RV sales and service facilities in the Midwest - with over 27,000 square feet under one roof of parts, shop and service, and over 13 acres of RV’s. Through each stage came growing pains and new systems and processes which needed to be installed, modified and perfected.

After over 25 years in the RV business, Robert & Kim sold out to family. During the years in business, Robert found that the easiest way to get out of the business was to become a trainer, surround himself with the best people, and train yourself out of a job. It worked great! Also, with experience in a parts & accessories department, certification as a service manager, years of experience as a successful sales manager, general manager & finance and insurance manager, he became acutely aware of the systems and processes which it took to repeat a quality customer experience. The relationship of margins, key ratios, and other specific statistics within the business were the strongest indicators to whether each department was to be profitable as well as where the problems could be found within the company and solutions reached.

Robert & Kim started consulting at special request of a few dealers as well as a software company in 2007. Word about their unique style and successful track record traveled fast enough to open the door to their consulting business full time in 2008.
